Hot Keys issues - need help

I have the TrackIR 3 Pro and I seem to have a problem setting the hot keys using the latest software version 4. but I don't have the issue with the version 3.

I like to use the +, -, and * keys on the number key pad for my center, pause, etc.. I have gone through and re-assigned the hot keys to the keys above and they work while I am on the desktop. But when I launch FS2004 or IL2/FB my assigned keys not longer work. The keys tend to go back to the default keys such as F12, F8. I did not have this issue with the version 3.0 but only on 4.0 versions.

What am I doing wrong here?

I also don't want to go back to version 3 since I get the green screen on the tracking window and I have to re-install everything.

I will ask our developers regarding this issue once they come in as I will test it on our gaming machine.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem here,
work outside of the game but the hotkeys come back to the default once in the game (Il2).
Though I'd let the programmers know. Btw, I dont use the vector expansion on this setup
