Installing

I have a problem:
I have TrackIr incl. the expension. After installing, the TrackIr works very well.
Because I have a laptop, I often have to disconnect the TrackIr.
When I connect it again to my computer, a message appears that it doesn't recognize the hardware and I have to reinstall the software. This is a little bit frustrating because I have to do this at least once a week.
Can someone help?

Are you using the device with a docking station of any kind? Straight connection with no USB hub or extension cable works best.
