TrackIR+Vector and FS9
I have just bought the system (S/N 32748) and am having difficulties in using it in FS9. When running the TrackIR software everything seems OK, with the tracking, heads, gauges all moving as they should, but in FS9 I get 'jerk-o-vision' at best. I have disable the Active Camera settings as suggested elsewhere to no avail, and testing in LOMAC shows no problems. I also notice that in FS9 the green tracking light goes out a lot. I use FSAutostart to shut down as many unnecessary programs etc as I can (after starting TrackIR) so there shouldn't be any conflicts. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: TrackIR+Vector and FS9
Just tried FS9 without stopping anything via FSAutostart, and TrackIR is working OK subject to tweaking (It would be nice to have a manual which explains the settings/adjustments a bit more). It would seem that one of the services I had shut down was causing the problem - can you give any guidance, please, as to which services are required under XP for proper operation?

There is a manual that descibes the various settings on the CD that came with the unit or you can view it online at this link.
What services did you have to shut down for it to work?

Re: TrackIR+Vector and FS9
Thanks, Rick - I should have spotted the manual!
I think you may have misunderstood - I used FSAutostart to shut down services as recommended within that program. With that done, TrackIR failed to work properly. However, when I didn't use FSAutostart (ie no services shut down) it worked. I could, of course, use trial and error to go through shutting down one service at a time to see which one alters TrackIR, but hoped for a short cut.
As a side issue, when used in BoB ll the "centred" view shows the seat pad rather than forward. Is this also a straightforward tweaking issue?
Thanks for any help.

Re: TrackIR+Vector and FS9
I dont have any specifics but I would find out what services it disables and turn one on at a time and go from there. I'll ask our developers and see whats needed bare minimum.
