Slow controller input

I just recieved my new TrackIR 3 Pro today. The manual said to check for the latest software from the website. I downloaded and installed the newest software and plugged in my TRack IR and it worked fine. But when Im in a Pacific Fighters Game or Flight Simulator 2004 my controller inputs now lag about 3 seconds before responding. I tried pluging in my Saitek X-45 into a different USB port than the one my TrackIR is on but it didnt help.
After experimenting some, I found that the keyboard does not lag while in the game but the joystick does.
Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix it?
A friend of mine and I installed a new TrackIR 4 on his computer (which is identical to mine) and it works perfectly. Could this be a TrackIR 3 problem only?

What type of system are you running? How many USB ports? Are you using a USB hub?

Hi Rick,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I figured out what my problem was. my system only has two onboard USB ports so I went to my local Wal-Mart and bought a new PCI four port USB2 card. I installed the card and only pluged my game controllers into it (X-45 and TrackIR) and now everything works perfect.
