The newest beta software should help with the lag issue.

Gave the new Beta4 software another shot and installed it after uninstalling the Alpha3 release and now all seems to be as it should...working fine, shutting down properly, behaving itself and no lag. In fact it seems to be very, very quick and super smooth, even when FSX is running @ 10FPS.

(possibly the first attempt going pearshaped was something to do with a clean install?)

(Now all that needs to happen is for MS to fix the graphics glitches in FSX and all should be sweet)

Glad to hear it is working fine for you, also I understand what you are saying about the FPS in FSX.
