Green light goes out

I used the Vector yesterday with no problem. Today, the green light goes on when I start, but it went off . The light is the same, and I moved the cliip around but no green light. I am using 4.0.022 as it has worked just fine. So how do I get the thing working? I can get into everything else, but just no green light.
