Quick update: while trackIR still occasionally 'shuts down' after starting it, the behaviour overall seems less erratic now and does not require unplugging/replugging to start. Instead a simple software close and restart usually does the trick.

Hmm... It's better which is good. I'm not sure why it keeps happening still even if it is on a lesser time frame.

What type of PC do you have? Brand/Model of motherboard?
