output to .bvh

Post by vincent »

I'm looking for motion capture software that can save the output to .bvh using optitrack cameras.

Best Regards,

Yes, I'd be interested in finding out if anyone has made a BVH output with the Optitrack SDK that is selling it commercially for the artists who don't want to program their own system.

Hey Rob:

You're really beating the bushes...

Yoshi's optitrack system is planned to output BVH files, and should only be a few months or less before he's ready. As far as I know, he's the only one I've seen working on a biped mocap system using optitrack.

Cool.
Thanks for the heads up, Micheal.

I gotta keep beating those bushes until SOMETHING flys out!

Hi all,

I've got the bvh output working.

It's not finished yet though, there are still more issues I need to resolve.

Just saw the videos, that is greate work Yoshi. Do you need a beta tester?

I'm planning to buy the OptiTrack 3-flex camera system and would be needing this software.

I can help you with any documentation and tutorials you want to produce.

Hi Yoshi,

Your work looks awesome. We are looking for a cheaper solution for motion capture with my friends. Have you progressed yet? What kind of price have you planned for the program?

Pricing has not yet been set, but you can imagine that it will be in the tradition of great value that all NaturalPoint products offer!

Any chance for a Intel Mac OSX program? Output of .bvh or .fbx would be awesome.
