Trackir 1 and 3.xx drivers - why not?

I see on the downloads page that it is not recommended that trackir1 users use the 3.xx drivers?

Why is this?

These drivers adress some of the bugs in the 2.xx series that we would like to use as well, will an updated set of drivers for us tir1 users be released?

The idea for 3.xx was to be for ALL TrackIR users. Unfortunantly, there were a few issues that caused a major burp in TIR1 performance. Until those are fixed, 2.11 is best for TIR1 users.

I think the idea is to get 3.xx working for everyone.
