Gun flash & bullets disappear

Well I have good news and bad news. I was able to recreate the muzzle flash issue, and get it to render properly after changing views. Problem does reappear after several minutes of game play.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to determine a simple fix. I am letting the programmers and developers know, and hopefully we will have it resolved as soon as possible.

Hi there!

I'm just wondering if any progress has been made with this issue?

I have downloaded the latest beta, but still have the same problem.

I know this is a bit of an old game, but the 6DOF implementation is really superb, and its just a shame that this niggling problem remains.

I can work around the issue by using mouse emulation, but it's just not the same, you know? I have to keep on re-centering the view, and one of the best things with this game is being able to duck around the edges of the open cockpits in these old WW1 planes to see where your enemy has got to, which doesn't work when all you can do is pan around.

Anyway, keep up the good work and hopefully a fix for this can be found.

It is on the list, but the development team has been working on other projects, so I don't have a timeline when/if this will be resolved.
