Will the IR bulbs burn out ? It runs fairly hot - certainly not like a IR remote control or anything.
I'm not expecting to pass this thing on as a family heirloom - I'm just curious whether theres a predicted lifespan (hours).

I could answer this question as a NaturalPoint employee and say that it will last forever.
However I will answer this as a user...
I probably put my TrackIR through way more than the average user, when I'm testing etc. and I haven�t had one die on me yet.
In my six months at NaturalPoint I have only had one return because it didn�t work, and that was replaced straight away.
I think that I can say with confidence that you will upgrade your computer before your TrackIR.
