Nope, the Alpha 3 drivers work just fine with the TrackIR 3, and since FSX starts in VC mode, you shouldn't have to change your view.

I've noticed that Track Ir now alters the view even in the 2d cockpit (just the external portion of the window not the panel). Is it ment to do this?? It can be very disconcerting if you've just nipped into the 2d to change a freq etc.

Any Ideas gents??

In FSX, TrackIR also works in outside spot view.

TrackIR working in 2d-mode, as well as in spot view, is a new feature of FSX.

I hope there will be a way to disable TrackIR in external view modes. I mean some permanent disabling, not just using pause function because I don't like at all how TrackIR controls external views.

Currently, trackir support in 2d-mode and external mode is controlled by FSX and I don't think that it will be disabled anytime soon.

Thats a real downer It just looks wrong to have a stationary 2D panel and the 'outside world' swinging about all over the place. It can hardly be called a feature.
