LED Problems with Alpha Version 3 and trackIR 3

Hi, just interested to see whether anyone else is having a problem with the tracking (green) light being lit when windows starts TrackIR Software and remaing lit even when not tracking anything.

Also my blue light that used to remain on now just flashes on and straight off when entering fs2004.

The TrackIR itself works perfectly and even though the blue light switches off the trackIr support ingame remains.

It was the same on alpha 2 version.

I need the Alpha version because hopefully FSX is arriving this weekend!

Nope, I haven't seen that issue at all.

What is the serial # of your unit?

Does the issue get resolved if you revert to the build 28 software?

Can you reproduce the issue with the Alpha 3 software?

Yep this is with alpha 3

when I start windows I have selected trackIR to start at start up (otherwise I forget to start it before getting game launch at hyperlobby or starting game then realising trackir software not running.

No such problem with standard software version just alpha 2 and 3.
I got my friend to try the software alpha 3 on his machine and his led's are not working properly as well heres the reply from my email to him

YES SAME UNIT 3 PRO
but he hasn't ordered fsx so he's not bothered gone back to the 28 version.

Same problems here with 2 and 3 alpha as well. Also, the LED light goes off/on whenever I plug in a new USB device as well. TrackIR 3 Pro s/n: 24078 with Vector Expansion here aswell. I have done a complete uninstall and deletion of the leftover folders and still have the same problem. Also I did delete the old files (OEM16 and OEM32 I believe is what they were called) when the uninstall program asked me if I would like to.

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s) that show and turn off the power saving feature that turn those ports off when idle. Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

Directly to the PC's USB port.

Yes, I've tried with just the keyboard and mouse and that's all.

Yes I have turned off all powersaving USB options.

Any other suggestions?
