Can't get TrackIR Pro 3 to work with FSX

Are you running any Firewall/Antivirus software?

Are you getting the blue light activating?

Updating the games list will cause the software to not see it as "beta"

I never see this blue led that people talk about, mine's either red/amber when it's disabled, off when it doesn't see motion or green when it sees motion. In my other sims, it illuminates green and everything still works fine (including FS2004)

Running windows firewall and the shield antivirus, have disabled virtually everything but minimal services and still no workee.

Updated the games list and now comes up with Flight Simulator X, but still no workee.

Went and read the doco, blue LED status is set to enabled but if I used a TrackIR enhanced game, no blue LED, never seen it before on this unit and until this FSX, has worked perfectly without ever seeing a blue LED.

Plugged into its own USB port, everything I could disable I have including firewall, anti-virus, spyware. Re-installed .NET 2.0 and patched. Re-installed the driver and the software does pick it up when FSX loads but no motion in-game.

Windows Firewall only on my PC (firewall is enabled at my switch) and The Shield antivirus. Have disabled both on startup, rebooted and still no go.

I had the same problem using The Shield. Even disabling it prevented my TrackIR Pro 3 from working with FSX. After I uninstalled The Shield, everything started to work. Until Microsoft fixes their problems with SimConnect this appears to be the only solution

It definitely looks like it could have an effect of the TCP/IP protocol stack, which can effect FSX.

Is it not possible to set the Av to ignore certain folders/Apps that run?

Sometimes the AV/firewall have a "wrapper" application that the TCP/IP protocol has to use before it uses the stack built into OS.

Unfortunately uninstalling The Shield and the antivirus software has had no effect on TrackIR. Still doing diddly.

Have disabled everything else, re-installed simconnect and the TrackIR driver with alpha03 and squat. :\
