Is there a way to make the Z-axis movement linked to the keys in IL2:FB/AEP/PF Delete, End, and Page Dn? Those are the Zoom out, Normal View, and Zoom in (might have that backwards) default keys.
Thanks.

IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
Re: IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
As far as I know thats not done yet.
But it would be a really great addition giving us something like "2.5 DOF".
I would really appreciate this and make an additional suggestion:
Make the "Move-Up" Axis mappable to a key to, default being for IL-2 the "Shift-F1" key, which puts the Gunsight into central view (with a slight zoom). We could then fully use all the IL2-view capabilities very easily.

Re: IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
Are you talking about using Trackmapper?
Re: IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
I don't believe TrackMapper will do what I mean, as it seems to be capable of mapping a key based on X-Y location only (not Z).
IL2:FB/AEP/PF etc. supports only X and Y (mouseview). However, it has three levels of zoom (wide, normal, zoomed in) that are normally associated with keystrokes (for example, Wide View = DEL, Normal View = END, Zoom In = Page Down).
Obviously, TrackIR2 only supports X-Y motion.
But now, with TrackIR4, there is a true Z range of motion. Although IL2:FB/AEP/PF doesn't support TrackIR4's 6DOF, is there a way (third party software?) that by moving my head closer or further away that I could map those zoom keys, while maintaining the normal TrackIR X-Y behavior?
Thanks.

Not that I am aware of.
