Latest software for FSx

Post by Bruce Upperton »

Hi There

I'm having a problem using the "hot keys" in FSX.
Everything works fine until FSX is selected.. then I can't Centre or pause.

There are no key conflicts in FSX, I've checked that.
I am using CH products and it does work sometimes, but more often than not it will stop working during use. The mouse wheel is used to Pause TrackIR, this also is intermitant.

Using the "heads" display in TrackIR, when I shut down FSX, TrackIR starts working again.

Thanks again for getting the "Beta" program out so soon...
I do hope that this can be resolved this soon...

In FS9 all is well.

Is anyone else having this problem?

HI There

Thank's for answering

My Hot Key settings are currently
Pause - Scroll button on the Mouse ie Mouse3
Centre - Button 9 on my CH Yoke ie. Joystick9
Precision - F7

My System is Pentium4 3.2
Video is Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
2Gb Ram
TrackIR 3

I have CH Yoke, Throttle Quadrant and Pedals. This all works fine in all other respects.

Sometimes TrackIR does not Centre unless I tick OR untick the Exclusive load box.

The problem did happen occasionally in FS9, but in FSX it happens just about every time I load it up.

There is nothing on this computer but FS9 and FSX. I have virus checked and de fraged

By the way, I have read all the blurb on your latest TrackIR and am considering upgrading.... but I need to know if the advantages are worth spending so many pennies on. I know that you lay out the specs but I want to know what the advantage of the latest TrackIR is over what I already have.

Many Thanks

Are you using a USB hub of any kind?

How about for the TrackIR?

Have you tried updating the USB chipset drivers, and motherboard bios?
