I took my Beaver out at dawn with the sky clearing

Post by wehyam »

after a thunderstorm (real weather for west coast). It was wonderful, beautifully atmospheric and just like it should be in SFX ...
EXCEPT I was controlling the views with the mouse.

WHEN oh please WHEN is there going to be a fix for the sfx and trackir problem. Its getting so bad I've already bought two addons for sf2004. (on which the trackir works fine

This is not meant to be happening.

PLEASE HELP ME and dont ask me to reinstall anything any more nor turn off the virus killer (T cells) not again ..
give me some encouragement please.. How long is it since SFX was released? THREE weeks. woe woe thrice woe.

Dear Wehyam,

As I recall, it wouldn't load at all correct?

We have been seeing where the software just isn't recognizing FSX at all. The issue though isn't tied to the TrackIR itself, but more in the Simconnect software that TrackIR "talks" to, which in turn talks to FSX itself.

We have seen where sometimes other third party applications that use Simconnect aren't working at all on a system. Unfortunately this seems to be an install or application issue with Simconnect, and not the TrackIR software (in this particular case).

We are still looking into the issue, and hope to have more answers soon.

No issue, I've been getting a litle frustrated myself, and can fully understand.
