Temp. fix for FSX

Post by Treyh8794 »

The best thing i can think of for right now for all of us who have the problem of TIR not working for FSX is to use the mouse emulation software the TrakIR 4 has and then go to FSX and push Shift+O to use mouse view then just go from there. The only thing is though itll take a while to get used to because its so sensitive and that youve only got Yaw and pitch.

I've tried that.. you're right its so sensitive that tuning the gauges to keep it on screen is mandatory and hard
BUT Quite frankly the best strategy is simply to use the mouse.. fix a button on the joystick to hotkey switch it and then troll along.
I think the mouse works quite well if all you're doing is sight seeing.. or poodling along on a long VFR flight with added VOR. It really only fails when you want to keep switching from eyeballing the reference point on the runway to the instruments and back.. What ever I didnt pay megabucks and loadsa money to wave my mouse about...regards
