Well its been a while since posting, and I've upgraded to a new MB/CPU. And since then ive had no problems with TIR. It has hardly lost track at all, during normal operation and game play.

Still using the drivers above.

Just a little more info which may help people.

I have come back to the rig with the original problem, and found the problem returned. I am using a 1.5m usb extension lead, and was for the other rig.

I solved the problem by plugging the TIR into a 'powered' USB hub, which gave me the extension I need. It has been working a dream since then. So like you said earlier, Vincent, once the power needs of the TIR4 are met, it works a treat.
