Set and Stable drivers?

Post by flygirl »

I think I will wait until some non beta drivers are up and running to use TrackIR in FSX. As much as I am very disappointed, I keep having to reinstall this simconnect dll everytime for it to work otherwise it just is to erratic or just isn't usable otherwise. In Fs9 it is a dream!! I might give it a go with the new clip, but hopefully the drivers will be better or simconnect is better.

All the best

You are right. Beta is just another word for "you test it and tell us what was wrong"! I never install Beta drivers or anything eles that is Beta, will not install alpha drivers either.

Actually, beta allows us to test the drivers an other hardware other that what we have access to, If would be impossible for us to have every system configuration possible, to due testing with, so we release beta drivers to allow us to see if the software has issues with other hardware that we don't have "in house".

Also, the issue with SimConnect is tied into FSX itself, and is just the interface that we are required to use by Microsoft.
