Non Vector Enhanced Games

Post by ArP »

I'm thinking about purchasing a TIR4. Primarily for PF stand alone but I also play BF2.

I see that PF only supports 2DOF, does that mean that if I rotate my head (roll) or move in an x-y-z plane that it will not have any effect?

Also, since BF2 is not supported (I see by no fault of naturalpoint) can I still use a TIR with the game? I see there are various modes to TIR, what do they all mean and do?

Thanks in advance.

PS - Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, not sure where to post this one.

1 - PF, correct, there will be no effect in the application if you move around in the unsupport movement planes.

2 - You might be able to use the TrackIR mouse emulation application in non support games, if they have a mouse look mode, for some TrackIR usage.

Thanks, just to make sure I understand, if the game doesn't actually support TIR, then it will have limited to no use in the game. Is that correct?

There can be some limited support, with the mouse emulation software, and a mouse look mode that the game may include. Its just that we don't garuntee that it will work.
