Starting with TIR4 and my visor and ver. 28 we had a rock-solid program.
Updating to the Clip and ver. 29 or beta .30 it is very jerky.
Clip is selected, dots lined up.
Tried all the tricks read on the forum, clean install several times, light filterin off, camera moved to left and around but no help or change to the better.
Removed the Clip and did new clean install of ver. 28 using my visor again for solid ops.
Bought the clip as the visor gets warm at times.
Very dissapointed.
Why bring a system that is not an improvement?
Joachim.
Clip too unstable
Re: Clip too unstable
Thanks Anderson but that was not my problem.
Using it on BoB WoV it was just too jerky.
Made another clean sweep and install.
Left the Camera center but with a slight tilt to left.
Using BoB selected as program and declared as Combat Flight BUT with the below selection of Combat Fliht UNchecked it is working.
However have not used my former BoB WoV TIR file which was also jerky although newly reistalled.
Will check that later.

Re: Clip too unstable
Also, make sure that you have the TrackClip Pro selected in the profile menu for each profile you are using.
Re: Clip too unstable
Thanks but Track Clip is selected each Profile.
One other item:
I cannot LEAN LEFT OR RIGHT with the Clip like I could with the visor to look outside the open canopy.
I now have to lean via the Hotas buttons.
Joachim.

Re: Clip too unstable
Could you please send me the following info....
What is the Serial # of the device?
It should be located on the end of the cable, near the USB plug, or on the underside of the device.
Could you send us a copy of the Setupapi.log file?
It should be located in the C:\Windows folder
Have you tried the device on another system?
Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?
Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s) that show and turn off the power saving feature that turn those ports off when idle. Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
Could you attach a screen shot of your device manager, and tracking screen?
To make Print Screen work, you must save an image of what's displayed on-screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a document where it can be printed.
Windows Help: Print Screen
To do this, follow this procedure:
1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn alone.
3. Open a new document in MS Paint, MS Word, MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Save the document as a .JPG or .JPEG file and send it in.

Re: Clip too unstable
First - With Clip selected all profiles:
BoB WoB is working but not lean left/right.
CFS-3 and IL-2 working with lean left/right.
MS FS-2004 woking with lean left/right if profile in Combat Flight and not in Flight selected below not on upper profile.
Seriel Nr.:
Looked at with magnifier, no seriel number under Device or on Cable near plug.
Device decal: "Track Clip PRO, then copyright and then www.NaturalPoint.com".
Cable: on cable between both USB plugs: "USB Shielded High Speed Cable 2.0 Revision 28 AWG".
Not tried on another system as only one of my 6 computers is the big game computer.
Tried isolating divice on other USB ports same results.
Not using a HUB having 6 USB ports and cannot power safe feature as I have Uninteruptible USB PWR supply.
Can send Screen shots and Setup.api logfile if and when I find out how to copy them onto this forum post.
Now how to do it on other forums.
Conlusion: All working OK as far as I am now concerned.
