Vista support
Vista support
When can we expect to have a digitally signed driver so the MS Vista will allow the driver to install. If there is a work around for this please let me know.
Re: Vista support
Which version of Vista are you running?
Currently, you can install the latest version of the software, within Vista-32 bit, whithout them being digitally signed.
As for the install of the drivers, and software, in Vista - 64, we will have drivers released or a work around as soon as we can make it available.

Re: Vista support
Thanks, yes I am running the Vista ultimate 64-bit. Guess I should have researched this digital signature thing a little better. I figured that commercial companies would already be signing their drivers.

No issue... we will have drivers released as soon as we can make them available.
Re: Vista support
rcharls I do not think it is that so much. More likly the $$ M$ charges for digital signing that makes the difference, especially to smaller companies. Personally I would rather someone like NP spend the money on good people than add to M$'s coffers.
Re: Vista support
I also have Vista Ultimate x64 - and very much looking forward to the digital signature soon.
Can't stand flying FSX/FS9 w/o TrackIR - can you?
Thanks

Re: Vista support
I found a work-around until the new drivers are released. On startup of your system you can hit the F8 key, and then select "Disable Digital Signature Requirment".
This will allow you to use and configure the TrackIR4.

Brilliant, works great, so easy, come on Vincent, how come you did`nt spot this one? Now I can fly on my Vista 64bit with FSX and FS9. Still looking forward to the official driver fix though.
Re: Vista support
As this is more of a testing mode. We are trying to avoid having customers di8sable features within the OS, to get our product to work..........
