C120 cameras

Post by niallm »

We have noted a significant image distortion in the optitrack C120 cameras (wider field of view). Do the vector routines take this into account when calclating the position of the vector clip?
If not is it possible to apply a lens correction to the frame prior to calculating the vector?

Posting this excerpt from our email correspondence so that other forum users have the information as well :

There is some distortion in the current C120 lenses and we are evaluating adding correction for it, however this has not been finalized yet.

Since INPVector extracts the object positions it uses directly from the frame, you won't be able to apply any distortion correction for the INPVector calculation at present.
