Explicit enable/disable request

I would like to have a key combo to explicitly enable or disable the Track-IR, whatever its current state, instead of (or in addition to) the toggle that we have now.

I have a key sequence programmed in my Flight Simulator X stick profile to switch off the Track-IR when I go to the 2D cockpit, and on again for the 3D (virtual) cockpit. That is, I use the toggle to do this, but this (predictably) sometimes gets out of sync, so that the Track-IR works in the 2D cockpit but not in the 3D cockpit, which is not what I want.

So it would help tremendously if I could use a key combo to always turn the Track-IR off, whatever its current state, and another to always turn it on.
