Hello,
i bought TrackIR 4 Pro some time ago (20.07.2006). It worked fine till now. today I played armed assault for some hours and than restarted my system due to a technical problem in armed assault. after that reboot i started the TrackIR software and after that the game... the blue led is not glowing anymore. the trackIR software (v.4.1.030.Final) says:
Device Info: TrackIR Unknown : 6
The field under "Expension" -> marked red
it says "license file is not valid"
i tried to follow the instructions under "Click here for more informations" but i have no Vector Serial number and
Vector Hash code.
please help me!

p.s.
- while running the Track IR software the blue led flashes sometimes very fast without having started a game.
- the 4 small red led's in the middle of the trackir device do not glow anymore

Have you tried the device on another system?
Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?
Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s) that show and turn off the power saving feature that turn those ports off when idle. Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

well i tried to install the device on another system with the v.4.1.028 software. this version sais "no device detected".
so i dont think that my problem is due to some system problems. perhaps the tracker has a problem.
