TrackIL . Help

I received my Trackil4 today and have spent the past six hours trying to make it work.
I installed the software. I installed the device.
The device shows a yellow/green light at the top, A blue light at the botton and has four red dots forming a square in the centre. I attached the reflector to the hat and started up Flight Sim 2004.
Nothing happens. Nothing appears on the screen.
The Status bar says "Tracking" and "Vector". But nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong? I've read the manual several times and have done everything it says. But no joy.

1. Enable Virtual Cockpit (Required!)

Whenever you Start a flight, you must right click on the view and select "virtual cockpit."
