I cant seem to get TrackIR to track the reflectors at all.. I go to the tracker and no green shows up at all.
I have not had the problem since I upgraded to Vista but I had not used it in a few months either.
Device Manager shows that TrackIR is working properly and the software starts up with no problem and turns on the LEDs. When I load up my game, the blue light comes on.
Could the reflectors be bad or the unit itself bad?
TrackIR 4 wont track..
Re: TrackIR 4 wont track..
So you are getting nothing on the Tracking screen?
What happens if you put your finger in front of the unit?
In the Tracking window, under settings, the check box for "Camera LEDs On" is checked?
Which version of Vista?

Yes the "Camera LEDs On" is checked
I am using 32bit Business version of Vista.
I am going to try and install trackir on another machine that is XP and see if it works there before I start blaming the unit itself.. I will reply once I do.
Re: TrackIR 4 wont track..
Ok... I tested the unit on a windows 2003 machine and the LEDs are working and it could see my hand and face
So I am leaning more towards a problem with Vista.
Anything I can try? I have tried running the program as administrator so that eliminates that as a problem.

Re: TrackIR 4 wont track..
Clean install of the software.......
1 - Remove the TrackIR from Installed applications section of Vista.
2 - Delete the NaturalPoint folder, from the program files (x86)
3 - Reinstall the software.
Are you using a hub, or are you plugging directly into the system?
