TrackClip Pro problem...

Post by ReFleX »

Well seems when I look up a small extra green dot appears.
This dot shows up between the bottom and middle sensor.

It will freak the software out and I lose connection.

Are you by any chance using glases?
I wear glasses and found that if I went to the extreem right I had this problem. I found that apart from moving the camera to the left of the monitor so that the the three active dots are centralised, rotating the camera slightly to the left as well resolved my problem.

I would sugest rotating the camera down slightly (5deg max)once you have moved the camera to the left of your natural viewing position might help.

Good Luck

No glasses.... It seems that the software is picking up
a glare on the trackclip pro itself. I can put my finger between the middle and lower ifra red dots on the clip. Then it doesn't show an extra dot. go figure?

Alot of people have reported the shiny surface of the TrackClip Pro bar reflecting the IR light.

For now, try putting non-IR reflective tape over the bar. That should solve your problem.
