need to connect trackclip to right side of headset

i recently bought a trackclip-pro to make my track-ir 4 easier to use, and have found that after opening the package the installation instructions indicate it is only designed for connecting to the left side of a headset.

for my use the cabling of the headset is on the right side, and it is an expensive light wheight nise canceling headset that is designed to have the microphone boom on the right side.

the advertising for the trackclip does not mention it is exclusively designed for left sided mounting, and neither does the labeling on the packaging indicate this when you purchase it.

so can i adapt this to be used on the right side and will it then still function correctly, or should i return this for a refund (in which case provide me with a rtm number)

yes you can... I tried it.. You have to put the tracker on your right side as well though.. But it worked for me.. Didn't do any extensive testing but it worked...

It is designed to only work from the left side of headsets. I would send an email to [email]support@naturalpoint.com.[/email] for getting the unit returned.
