TrackIR 4 Wont start

I`ve had IR Pro 4 for some months and recently updated sound drivers. Now IR wont start the red led on top is on constantly and bright and the blue led is still flashing . i have uninstalled drivers and updated from your site,but this update says i have an invalid vector expansion please purchase. The main vector software says no device detected. it is plugged into computer usb as always. I`m stuck any thoughts thanks Rick

Have you tried the device on another system?

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s) that show and turn off the power saving feature that turn those ports off when idle. Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

i`m at a lost to figure this out. i have tried everything you suggested including trying it on my office computer and it wont work. my x52 works fine through usb, also my logitech webcam and saitek rudder pedals but the IR will not initialize. up untill now it worked fine. its an expensive piece of plastic sitting on my LCD...lol

What is the Serial # of the device?
It should be located on the end of the cable, near the USB plug, or on the underside of the device.
