TrackIR: Changing it's behaviour ....

Post by zombat »

...from relative movement to a sort of panning

So the normal behaviour of TrackIR is that when you move your head left your in game view also moves left + the acceleration value, and when you return your head to centre your in game view also returns to centre.

What I'd like though is a sort of panning system.

E.g. I move my head left from centre then the in game view pans left as well, but when I return my head centre the in game view stops panning.

I think this would be more intuitive for tracking objects that are outside my plane, so I'm wondering if this is possible?

Currently that is not possible. You can try panning the view, and then pausing the TrackIR software so the view will not change.
