Hi,
Sorry if this has been answered previously - I could not find it...
I'm using TrackIR 4 with the clip Pro. Great product, by the way!
Here's the thing: When I'm in a plane's VC, I'd like to open a new window / view (also with the VC view in it), move it to my second monitor (which is to the right of my main monitor), resize this new window to fill this second monitor (I run in full screen mode), and adjust the view so it's looking about 30-40 degrees to the right. In other words, set my two monitors up so that they together appear as one wide monitor, so I can see further to the right on the second one. This is, in itself, not difficult, but what I have yet to figure out is: How do I make the second window's view also "link" to the track IR to make both my monitors act "together" (except that the one to the right is offset by those 30-40 degrees)??? By default, only my "main" view on my main monitor is being tracked at the moment...
Hope this is relatively understandable, otherwise I'll be happy to try to explain it again...
/Hans

Re: FSX - Tracking in multiple windows / monitors
No I understand what you are wanting to do, unfortunately the TrackIR will only work in the Main view of FSX. If you pull up more than 1 view, it can't then be able to react to the secong view as well, as FSX is actually drawing to seperate images, as opposed to one large image.
Have you tried running in dual monitor mode, and spreading the main view across both monitors?

Thanks for the quick reply.
I kind of understand your suggestion, but I'm having some issues implementing it.
As I see it, I can't resize the main window in the FSX full screen mode I'm using now, so I need to go out to Windows (i.e. hit Alt-Enter to put FSX in a "Windows window").
With the current settings, when I try to pull/strech this window accross the other screen (which I can do), the width of the actual FSX pickture within the window stops at the 1680 pixels (width) that is the highest setting I currently can select in FSX. The rest (right side) of the window is just black.
I'm running an nVidia 8800 GTX card with two LCDs: One's a 22 inch wide format and the other is a 19 inch regular. In order to - out in Windows - have one big "horizontal" deskop (which might be the way to go), they say that the resolutions and color depth of the two monitors must be the same. This would make things look crappy on either one or the other (as far as I can tell), so I'll probably need to wait until I upgrade to two equal monitors.
See what I'm saying? Any suggestions?
