Well, this may help others with Track Clip Pro... I have tried numerous installs, on Fresh OS'es and it's the same for all.... I Launch TrackIR... and then the game.... and the head movement is jerky... If I go to head view.. the movement is also jerky... BUT if I click on (highlight) ANY profile... the movement is smooth as silk... and then return to the game... smooth as silk...

Maybe it's by design?

But now I always do the following and have perfect results every time:

1. launch TrackIR,
2. select View >> Heads ..
3. then click on any profile in the bottom of the main window, just the once...
4. then launch the game...

to be fair... once the first 3 steps have been completed, I can launch any game after that and it is silky smooth... as long as I dont close TrackIR.

Odd behaviour, but it works...

Cheers... (Great product BTW)

MrPix suggestions worked for me. That together with using a MB usb port seemed to solved the problem. In First Eagles, I also disabled roll, since it does not use it.

BTW: Check to make sure you do not have the wrong orientation selected - 90 degrees instead of 0 (duh).

Hi all,
I had this and solved the problem by reducing the light filtering in the TRACKING-SETTING menu.

I previously had a window blind down over the adjacent window in the room, but after I got rid of it, the jerking appeared (due to extra light filtering into the room). Reducing the sensitivity cured the snag - smooth as silk now.

Vincent, FYI, setting the processor TRIR4.exe to Above Normal as you suggested made a huge difference in my rig.

It seems to work for me too! Smooth as glass once you select Heads then click a profile.
Very peculiar but I guess a work-around's a workaround!!

All the best

Hopefully some of these items can be ironed out in a future version of the software as well........
