My TrackIR(4) software refuse to launch

Hello

For three weeks, i can't use my TrackIR (and it makes me sick, i can't fly without now ).

When I click on the TrackIR software shortcut, my PC seems working but nothing happen. The TrackIR process in the CTRL + ALT + DEL window (I don't know the english word for "Gestionnaire de taches" LOL) indicates that the software use something like 95$ of my processor and 29Mb of RAM.
The TrackIR locks all my computer and I can't make something anymore. The first issue is to kill the process

I tried re-setup the Track IR, changing USB port, nothing works... I tried to run the software without the TrackIR plugged-in, and it's the same problem

I saw a registry update but i think i'm not concerned because it's for a setup problem.

2 - What version of Windows?

3 - Are you running any Anti-virus/Firewall software?

4 - In the following folder location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, what is the file size for each profile?

5 - Have you made any changes to the system recently?

6 - Have you tried the TrackIR on another system?

1. I'm running the 4.1.030 - Final B version
2. I'm on Windows XP SP2
3. I'm running Mc.Afee but the problem stills when i desactivate it. I run no software firewall.

Combat_Flight : 1886 octets (4096 octets on hard disc)
Default_profile : 2 172 799 octets (2 174 976 octets on hard disc)
Flight : 1 868 octets (4096 octets on hard disc)
Racing : 1724 octets (4096 octets on hard disc)

5. Mmhh, i don't remember having made any changes in my system or configuration since the last year

6. No, i did'nt tried to install my track ir on another computer

OK, looks like an issue with the default profile -

You should have no profiles larger than 4 KB, in the profile folder.... Default_profile : 2 172 799 octets (2 174 976 octets on hard disc)..... is WAY too big (2MB), and this will cause the software not to load properly...


Delete the default profile, in C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, then restart the TrackIR software....

The default_profile was FULL of lines like this :

<AssociatedGame Id="4294967295"></AssociatedGame>

It should be normaly just one time, but i found over 50.000 times this line !!! I think it's a bug which happend during a recent axis edition (I did'nt remember but I have updated my axis to have the 6Dof in Falcon4 (Openfalcon) )
