Track IR4 not compatible with FSX SP1 ?????

Hi,

I am very frustrated that my track IR is not working anymore under FSX SP1, it doesn't recognise the application (probably due to version number different).

In the next version can you let the user edit the version instead of another wait for a new driver.

I have installed the SP here, and have not had an issue with FSX at all....

My trackir4 isnt working with FSX too prior to SP1 installation. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the trackir software but still no go. Please tell me whats going on!!! HELP i cant fly without trackir

1 - Had the TrackIR been working with FSX?

2 - Does the blue LED turn on?

3 - Have you tried a clean install of the TrackIR software?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

Trackir was working before SP1 update and no now the blue led isnt on thats why im screaming here i also did a reinstallation of both the trackir software and FSX but still its not working. And im using the latest software version...final b something

It should be working just fine, as I just did a clean install of FSX, with SP1, as well as the TrackIR software and have it working in both XP as well as Vista.......

Its not working i did what you did clean install of FSX followed by sp1 started the game no blue light reinstall trackir started the game again still no blue light. Im going crazy here

Ok I found the problem. I had fsx.exe running as administrator (check the properties of the file,compatibility and --> "run as administrator" must be unchecked otherwise the blue light doesn't come on

why does mine not show any administrator for me to uncheck or check? Im on XP btw.

Am having the same problem -- just sent an e-mail about it to [email]support@naturalpoint.com.[/email] Have tried all fixes suggested in this thread, with no luck. TrackIR4 worked fine with FSX prior to SP1, and still works with FS2004. But now FSX doesn't recognize it, post-SP1. System is a Dell XPS 700, Windows XP2, nVidia 8800 GTX. Open to suggestion as to what to do next.
