Does naturalpoint automatically upon startup set mouse properties acceleration to low? I like mine set at none yet when restarting computer it changes back to low. Why might this happen?

Hello,
When you mention mouse acceleration, are you referencing the acceleration setting in the mouse section of the windows control panel?
Our SmartNAV software does not reset this setting and I can not think of why this might happen.
I will ask our developers if they have any suggestions and will post if they have any advice/hints

Hello,
I have talked to the developers, and I was incorrect. The mouse acceleration is actually set by our software, and this is done to prevent interference with the Smartnav cursor motion if mouse acceleration was set to high. This behaviour has been changed in the SmartNAV version 3 software which is compatibile with the SmartNAV 3 hardware.
Cheers,
Kevin

Klumb,
I created program to change mouse acceleration to none when starting up my win 2000. If you post email or someplace for me to send it. I will send it to you..
