Hi all,
I've just purchased track IR 4 and installed it and it was running swimmingly. The next day it doesn't seem to work at all. I've updated the software, reinstalled, rebooted, and everything else suggested in the users manual. I'm operating an XP system and play CFS3 and BoB2. On BoB2 I get a message when i go into the game that track IR is deactivated. In CFS3 there is just nothing. I get the blue led light for a few minutes and then nothing. I get no feedback when I go into the settings. Any suggestions?
TIA

BOB II - Start Battle of Britain II.
Click on "Options"
Click "Adv."
Click "Game"
Place a check mark in the box next to "TrackIR". Also check "TrackIR Vector Expansion" if you have the expansion.
CFS3 - We have also seen an application like Trend Micro : Virus Buster 2007 causing CFS3 to no longer work on the system, try disabling the software, or uninstalling.
Also, see if you are running the following software applications, as they have been known to cause issues as well.
Logitech Set Point Software
Logitech Wireless Software

For BoB I've got the box ticked off for Track IR. Still no joy. As far as CFS3 goes, I disable my antivirus before starting the game. Still a problem.

What Antivirus software are you using?
Do you have any logitech software installed?
Have you tried moving USB ports?

problem solved
I think I've got the problem solved. I uninstalled both games and the track IR software. re-loaded all starting with track IR. It seems to work now. Mind, it did work with my initial installation but failed to work on the next day. I'll have to see if it works tonight. I've got the Logitech 3 forcefeed software and my antivirus is by sympatico.
Thanks for your input. I'll let you know if it is still working after I try it tonight!

Re: problem solved
Tried it out last night and everything seems to be working fine now. BoB started off with no probs. Switched to CFS3 and at first it didn't work but I shut down both the game and track IR, started them up again and they worked! So hopefully my problem is solved.
Thanks very much for your help in this matter. It is appreciated greatly!
cheers.
