FSX and TIR jerky movement

Post by VF19_Wolf_Rider »

Hi
I've been experience jerky movement when panning around when ingame FSX. When I disable TIR the rough jerky movements cease, are no more when I use my mouse to pan around. TIR also seems to "stick" in places. I don't get that zoom around (where the plane seems to get closer then zooms back out, when I pan in outside view but I do when I use the mouse (TIR3 disabled)
I get an average of 25 - 30fps

Can any help be offered?
System...
Intel D875PBZ
P4 3.4 Gh 1024L2 cache (478 pin)
XPSP2 Home
DX 9.0c (June '07)
2048Gb Corsair PC3200 C2
Raid/0
Samsung 204B monitor.
TIR3 is on it's own IRQ
X52 HOTAS and Rudder pedals on their own IRQ
I'm running the latest version TIR software

1 - The zoom feature only works in the VC, not it any of the other views within FSX.

"2D Cockpit" mode - TrackIR has support for head movement in both the Yaw and Pitch axes.

Outside View: Tail Similar to the 2D cockpit mode, in that there is support for both the Yaw and Pitch axes.

Outside View: Spot Rotating your head in the Yaw axis direction (looking left and right) will cause the view to rotate to the side that you are looking at (i.e. if you look to left, your view will rotate so you are looking at the left side of the aircraft).

2 - Do you have the Vector expansion for the TrackIR 3?

3 - How many green dots do you see on the tracking screen (TrackIR software->View->Tracking)?

Do you see any red ones?

Got it sorted...
Nvidia 7800GS... I selected Vertical Sync (in the card Driver Control Panel - IQ Settings) from Application Controlled to ON
