Sometimes TIR works, sometimes not

Hi all,

I have a little problem with my TIR4

I use TIR 4 with TrackClip Pro. Sometimes, when I start TIR, green diode (on the top of TIR) lights for three seconds and then it switched off, TIR dont work. Sometimes it works OK.

When I open window, where the motion of tracklip is shown, there is nothing to see. No black window, no points from Tracklip. TrackClip is always on, diods are lightning and there is free space between TIR and TrackClip (nothing stands in light). I use latest version of TIR drivers (Version 4.1.030 - Final B).

My PC is:

MB - ASUS P5B-E,
proc - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
RAM - 2x DDR2 1024 800,
HDD - 2x Samsung HD321KJ 320GB SATAII/300 7200RPM, 16MBCache
GC - Gigabyte GEFORCE 8800GTS GB 320MB 320bit DDR3
OS - Windows Vista Ultimate, 64-bit, ENG, OEM

I reinstall TIR three times, I tried to change USB ports etc. And it is the same song. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

No I didn�t. I'll try it this evening. Yesterday for the first time TIR was dead and in the evening worked normally.
