TrackIR Pro 4 & Flight Sim X jumpy screen

Unfortunately, yes the problem remains with the Default Profile loaded. If this is of any help, the "jumpiness" increases when you switch to the Tail/chase view (despite keeping my head perfectly still)

Hmmmm, very strange......

No add-in software -
Tried a clean install, including deleting the NaturalPoint software -
No firewall or antivirus software installed -
Just the 3 gren on the tracking screen, no red -
Tried increasing the software priority -

Hi Vincent, thanks for all the help. Don't worry about it, I guess I can live with it! Just to confirm anyway:

No add-in software - Yes
Tried a clean install, including deleting the NaturalPoint software - Yes
No firewall or antivirus software installed - Just XP firewall enabled and AVG Free Anti-virus
Just the 3 gren on the tracking screen, no red - Yes definitely all green, no red
Tried increasing the software priority - Yes

I haven't tried an uninstall/reinstall of FSX yet so I guess I'll try that as a latch ditch attempt. It might also be worth trying a demo of some other TrackIR enabled flight game to see if my problem is specific to FSX?

That might be where I go next, trying another demo app.....

Hi Vincent,problem solved! I downloaded the demo of micro flight and it worked perfectly. So clearly the problem was specific to FSX. I spent an hour uninstalling and reinstalling FSX followed by Service Pack 1 and bingo it worked perfectly.
I guess we'll never know why it didn't work straight off as I had no add-ins for FSX before I originally installed SP1.
Once again many thanks for your patience and help throughout.

Honestly, sometimes FSX does strange thing when it is install the add-ons/SP. I just had to reinstall FSX from the ground up to get the TrackIR working again, after doing some testing with an add-on........
