Trackir 4 Pro works in one cfs3 version but not another

Firstly, I'm new here and want to thank Natural Point for a great game addon they have made.

I have cfs3 and the addons OFF, MAW and now PTO, which are all seperate games and my Trackir works fine in all the game variants. I also have another cfs3 variant i created using the "cfs3 multi install tool" thats available and named it cfs4. I got a new pc last month and since reinstalling these games i have found that trackir won't work/recognize my cfs4 variant whereas is did before on my old system. I have checked the shortcut and exe paths and they are the same as the main cfs3 (same as all of them really) so why won't it work???
I have had it going once or twice but 99.9% of the time it won't work.

I am using XP home, turn off Nortons before i start and always start Trackir up first.

Any idea's would be much appreciated,

What OS are you running?

I do have a Logitech web cam actually.

XP home,
geforce 8600gt 256
2gig ddr2 ram,
amd cpu 3200+
160 gig hard drive,
soundblaster card,

Anything else?

Try uninstlling the logitech software, and see if it functions properly then.............

Hi Vincent, I don't want to uninstall my web cam yet for fear off it effecting my other games when i reinstall it again. I can't see how it would be the problem if all my other variants of cfs3 work fine with trackir.
Are there any other avenue's week can take first?

I'm not aware of anything else that could be preventing it from working.......

So if i do uninstall my web cam and it fixes the problem, what then do i do to use my web cam?

Well, you can see if their is some older version of their software, which will work. Also, you can use the standard features within Windows for using your camera.

G'day Vincent,
Well i fixed it mate, i ended up going into the appropriate game folder via the "C Drive/Doc and Settings/my name/application data/microsoft/..." path and then the game file and deleted it. Then when i restarted the game the computer created a new file and then Trackir worked.
I didn't think it was the logiteck web cam cause it all worked fine on my old pc. I really didn't want to uninstall it.
