will new TR4 base fit TR3 Pro...

I am in the process of moving my TR3Pro from my CRT to my new LCD monitor and really like the look of the new TR4 mount. Rather than either prying the mount off my CRT or ordering a new TR3 mounting plate, I would like to make use of the new mount on the TR4. First, will it fit the TR3? Second, if it will, how do I go about ordering one?

Nope the bases are designed completely different between the TrackIR 3, and the TrackIR 4; and the base for the TrackIR 4 is not removable without taking the case apart (which would void the warranty).

sucks...now I have to make a decision...new base or new TIR4...hmmm

You can bend the TIR3 legs so that you can wrap it around the top of your TFT, I think I saw that somewhere in the online manual? I did it and it works perfectly. If needed, I can send you a picture of how I did it.
