TrackClip Pro unresponsive at a certain distance.

I recently bought TrackIR4 + TrackClip Pro, and I've not been able to use my TrackClip Pro at all. The problem is that right where I like to sit while flying (with my head approx. 32 inches away from my screen)TrackIR looses the trackclip. It becomes unresponsive and then all of the sudden it will spike. If I move my head closer, it works; if I move my head farther away it works. It seems like as long as my head is in the 22-36 inches away range, it just won't work.

I really don't know what to do. I've tried out the vector clip (it's what I currently use) and it works like a charm.

I've tried everything that you suggested, and the problem is still not resolved. Any other suggestions?

OK, I tried it on a couple of different systems, and the problem is still there. Could the TrackClip be defective?

Not if it is working otherwise. It would appear to be an issue with the software......

Is there a way to download previous software? Maybe if I revert to an older version it will fix it.

Well, the ealier software does not support the TrackClip Pro.
