Counterstrike CZ troubles

Post by Halo2x »

First of all let me say this thing is awesome, I only have one problem. One of the demos I watched showed a guy playing counterstrike, when I tried to use it to play "counterstrike condition zero" I ran into trouble. The pointer jumps frames which makes it impossible to use.

Am I doing something wrong, should I adjust something I overlooked?

I read somewhere on your site to download the TracIR software, but I can't get it working because it asks for a vector serial and vector hash numbers and I dont have or know how to get one. Can someone fumigate me with wisdom? Thank you for your time.

Hello,

You do not need to activate Vector for the TrackIR software to work.

Just start the software, and run the mouse emulation app then start Counter Strike.

If you are using the SmartNAV software in CS then try adjusting the smooting and movement settings, start with them slow then make them faster.

Hi Kevin thanks for the help, your advice made using Smartnav regularly a lot easier, but I'm still not having any luck getting CZ to work. I fiddled with the Smartnav movement settings and the choppyness slowed down some, but not enough to be useful. Can you tell or point me to where I can get step by step directions explaining how to run the mouse emulation app with TrackIR? Thanks again for your help.

Ok Kevin I ran the TIR mouse emulator utility and it worked, almost all the choppyness is gone. I'll read the manual and learn how to adjust the speed and stuff and I'll be good ta go. Thanks for all your help. You da man

Have you tried adjusting your windows mouse settings? Try turning off acceleration.

I would also make sure Gravity is not turned on the SmartNAV software.

To learn more about how to use the Mouse Emulation Utility in the TrackIR software check out this section of our manual

If you download and watch the gaming video on our SmartNAV website you can get Bobby's email and he is usually available via email to help get things set up as well.
