no tray of trackir software

Hi,


just have a problem with my trackir 4.
Device works fine, but can't initialize the yellow trackir tray.
If i click the regular icon, it seems to be a normal process at task manager, taking my memory out for nothing.

Tried reinstall, used regcleaner, uniblue registry booster, npregfix.exe ... nothin' happened.



Can anyone help me please ?

"yellow trackir tray" - could you define a little more?

Could the software be minimized, next to the clock on your system tray?

What OS are you running?

What version of the TrackIR software?

"yellow trackir tray" i mean an icon next to clock, yes.
Thats the problem - there is no icon.

Running Win XP SP2 with today's updates
software Version 4.1.030 - Final B


By the way, if i click to a regular icon in my desktop by right button and try to launch it "as" (trackIR.exe), it tells me it can't be proceed because of any problem and must be closed.

have you tried a clean install of the software?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

deleting c:/program files/ Naturalpoint + reinstal made it..



Just have a little proposition .. The viewing is kind of snatchy, but i'll find it at this forum...

I'd say it is not a smoothly tracking if i move my head.

Looking at the Tracking screen, do you see the 3 green dots?

Any other dots(red)?
