Hi,
Been looking at the TrackIR for a long time, and I have finally decided "it's time".
However, I have heard there are issues regarding room lighting and how it can interfere with the TIR.
Could someone give me a run down of these?
Cheers,
Joe
Issues surrounding lighting
Re: Issues surrounding lighting
It the "camera" can see an IR source, like a standard light bulb, it can cause some issues, as the software isn't sure which IR point it should be tracking. Some of this can be elimanated with the light filtering option, within the software.

Thanks Vincent.
There is a fluorescent light in the room, just over my left shoulder from where I'm sitting at the PC now.
Could this be a problem?

Re: Issues surrounding lighting
It shouldn't, usually the issue is with incandescent bulbs, that generate heat (IR light).
