Trackir stops when I start Lock On

Hi there,

I have trackir4 and the latest drivers. I have Flaming Cliffs version 1.12. I have a new PC, E6600 Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, Gigabyte-P65DSC3, GeForce 8600GT, Antec 500W PS. XP Home.

So I turn on TIR4 and test it out - no probs. Everything works great. However, whenever I run Lomac I get a 'TrackIR4 Handle Error' message in a small box screen coming up on my screen. Sometimes my TIR4 responds in the game - sometimes not. Mostly not these days.


Do you know anything about this issue - I hope I'm not the first to have see this.

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

Some users have reported TrackIR no longer working in Lock-On: Flaming Cliffs, with the latest game patch (1.12a).

To remedy this simply open your LOMAC->Input folder, and delete the TrackIR.ini file; then go to LOMAC->Config folder, and delete the TrackIR.ini file located here as well.

When I do this, the trackir works well, but when I reboot, the files are back and the trackir doesn't work again. Is there a way to completely delete those files? Best Regards, Sora
