Track IR 4 not detecting FSX

Track IR 4 is not working with FSX

-I have read every related post and followed all instructions
-I have had Track IR 4 for over 8 months and it has worked great with all of my flight sims to include FS2004
-I just bought FSX, Track IR software was detecting FSX at first (blue light) but operation was sluggish, incorrect, unreliable, and irradic.
-After following some posted advice, update software from .29 to 30, delete posted file and apply repair, Track IR no longer detects FSX at all... no blue light.
-I have tried the hotkeys, all work with no impact on problem
-I have disabled my SystemSuite 8 firewall, no impact
-I have tried the registry fixer (linked to in the forums), it reported two items fixed, no impact on problem

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

When you updated the software, did you uninstall the old version first?

delete posted file and apply repair

Did you delete the file in the folder or the whole folder?

Did it reinstall?

Standard or deluxw version of FSX?

Any add-on software install for FSX?

I deleted the Track IR software in its entirity to include the folder before reinstalling. Reinstall was successful.

I am running FSX delux w/ only Service pack 1 update, no add-ons.

I just uninstalled and than reinstalled FSX and SP1. Track IR is now detecting FSX again (blue light) but im am back to square one with slow, irradic movements. There are no light sources behind to impede accurate readings on the hardware. Looking at the Track IR software, all appears normal. Still working fine for other sims (il2, falcn 4 af, etc...). It seems to be a problem w/ a delay between track ir and fsx. While in game i minimized to check track ir software. Again it appears fine and is accurately tracking head movement. Thanks again.

Looking at the tracking screen, only 3 green, no red?

Do you have the TrackClip Pro, or vector selected in the different profiles?

What framerates to you have within FSX?

Three green and no red. Tracking looks good.

I have tried the default flight profile, no profile, and the FSX profile.

Frame rates around 10 usually. I have the limiter set to either 10 or 15 to keep resources free. But regardless I only average about 10 from the FSX beast. The mouselook works nice and smooth though.

Check your firewall/antivirus software, and make sure that the TrackIR, and FSX are allowed access across the TCP/IP settings. They may still be running in the background, even after you shut them down.

Both prgrams have unrestricted access within the firewall.
