Ok, so I got the TrackIR 4 Pro for X-Mas. (Bless the wife)
As per the installation, I installed the software then plugged in the sensor, clipped on the track clip that came with it to my hat. And tested it out in the TIR software. All is working very well, I am impressed.
So I fire up my Falcon 4.0 AF and I can barely fly the freaking jet, no responce to my joystick commands. I get out of the game and take a look in the Control Panel for my joystick settings. And wow, they're all messed up. The indicators look like Bart Simpson getting choked with my joystick.
I realized that if I turn off the TIR software, the joystick behaves normally, but once I launch the software, it goes crazy.
I am using my trusty old Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner. (HOTAS) this setup just never dies.
Has anybody seen this problem before?
I've tried switching USB ports and hubs (internal), but nothing works. The track IR is working great with or without the joystick, so it's really just the TIS software screwing up my joystick.
Thnx in advance.
Soryu...

Do you normally run the joystick software while also running the gaming joystick controls?
Are you using macros within that software for button control?

I'm using the basic joystick setup... No Thrustmaser software installed.

Look at the hotkey assignments, anything conflicting between the 2?
